Around 10 years ago I heard of the ‘best’ question from Andy Stanley. Grabe itong tanong na ito. This question has guided me in the decisions I did in my life. 
I used to think I have an issue of motivation (and meron naman talaga minsan) but more than a motivation issue, I realized I have a problem with my perspective. Perspective affects the way we make decisions. What I love about the ‘best’ question is that it puts my mind in the right perspective, takes into account my context and at the same time it still allows me the responsibility to make a decision. Here is the paraphrased question:
“In light of your past experiences, your current circumstances and your future hopes and dreams, what is the wisest thing to do?”
