Our Only Hope
Imagine if you have the cure for cancer. Imagine if for some reason you manage to develop an anti virus for HIV. Now the drug you discovered can change the lives of millions of people and cure the most notorious disease of man. It is revolutionary! The bad news is that there is an epidemic far worse than that of cancers and HIV.
This sinister virus is so deep that it punctured every generation, destroyed families, caused millions of broken hearts, started wars and divisions, wiped hope, deluded mindsets, blinded people and caused death to every man. However, the good news is the cure for the most insidious dilemma of mankind has been discovered.
The cure is the gospel found in Jesus Christ. The herald of this gospel is none other than the Church, the body of Christ, the physical manifestation of the Savior in this broken world. The church is more than an organization (a gathering of people for an event) but it is a living organism made up of living people.

Individuals like you and me, are part of this body, and every time we take the Gospel for those who are hurting, we are acting as Christ’s behalf in this physical world. There is no other institution in the world that has this “Gospel cure”, only the church, and we are privileged to be a part of this movement!

1 Corinthians 12:12-13, 27
The human body has many parts, but the many parts make up one whole body. So it is with the body of Christ. Some of us are Jews, some are Gentiles, some are slaves, and some are free. But we have all been baptized into one body by one Spirit, and we all share the same Spirit. All of you together are Christ’s body, and each of you is a part of it.
