God answered only 4 out of my 13 faith goals, am I supposed to feel disappointed?
For the past week I see people say that majority of their prayers got answered…how about for the people that didnt get their prayers answered?
I checked my faith goals last year and I saw that only 4 out of 13 were answered. Am I supposed to feel frustrated? No….because God was there…he still deserves to be praised, he could’ve not given one and still he is worthy to be praised…I deserved nothing but hell but he graciously blessed me.
Did i work hard for it? Did i tap in his grace? Moved in faith? Biblically obeyed? Yes (or most of the time) but even with the initial disappointments we must not let it sink to a seed of doubt that can grow to destroy our trust in God. We must remember that He is not a genie…but a Sovereign God who sees past, present and future in one view and knows what’s best for us because he is good and he is faithful and that alone is worthy to be praised.
When we make our goals we make the best scenario out of the knowledge that we have, but when God has a goal for our life, he does it out of the infinite knowledge that he possess and the goodness of character that he is.
My faith goals may not have been met but God is still faithful.
