the book of my heart
I just want to share this very quick short blog about a recent word I got from God. I was so amazed at this verse from the bible that when I read it, it made me cry. I remember the times when I saw the events of my life as clusters of useless events, entirely useless. Back then I was driven by revenge and has anger in my heart. I experienced heart breaks with people that I love and I constantly try to impress others. People doesn’t notice back then that I was insecure, weak and on a constant search for that deep empty feeling that I have in me. Then I got to know Christ. This verse pretty much says what I felt after he found me, and after I let him enter my life. This verse reminded me of the grace that I have received, and how God literally made my life fall into pieces together and how he gave me a new start, a right start.
“God made my life complete
when I placed all the pieces before him.
When I got my act together,
he gave me a fresh start.
Now I’m alert to God’s ways;
I don’t take God for granted.
Every day I review the ways he works;
I try not to miss a trick.
I feel put back together,
and I’m watching my step.
God rewrote the text of my life
when I opened the book of my heart to his eyes.”
-King David in the book of psalms 18:20-24 message version after God saved him from all his enemies.
My prayer is that you’ll find encouragement and joy and experience the power of His Word, and may you learn to appreciate the wonder of His works. Godbless!
