Every Nation conference had been a blast, and people would just ask me what my favorite speaker, song or dance number, parade was and I’m having a hard time to answer not because the speakers, parades or dance or song numbers weren’t great (on the contrary they are excellent!hats off!) but because the thing that i remembered the most was when we sang “You are God” by Jam Capistrano.

“Ever since I heard your name, my life wasn’t the same.

In me, there was a change.

You broke the chains, Jesus you broke the chains

You are God. Lives you restored.

You are God, faithful and true.

I can always find rest in you.”

My spirit was just praying its heart out that I just broke down and cried and it broke me, humbled me and made me stand (more like sit to a near kneel) in awe of God. I was reminded of a psalm in the bible:

“If God hadn’t been there for me,
I never would have made it.
The minute I said, “I’m slipping, I’m falling,”
your love, God, took hold and held me fast.
When I was upset and beside myself,
you calmed me down and cheered me up.” – psalm94:17-19 (message)

” But me he caught—reached all the way
from sky to sea; he pulled me out
Of that ocean of hate, that enemy chaos,
the void in which I was drowning.
They hit me when I was down,
but God stuck by me.
